简介
Root Scan是一个java构建的对于根系横切面进行半自动图像分析的软件。其可以根系根系横切面图像的20多个性状,并自动划分气孔、皮层等结构。Root scan结果作为期刊发布于Plant and Soil. Volume 357, Numbers 1-2, 189-203 (2012)。具体下载方式请谷歌搜索宾夕法尼亚州立大学(penn state)Root Scan。
操作过程
以下图为例进行,
在file目录下选择load image导入图片。点击start,程序自动识别图片轮廓
点击approve outline提取轮廓图片,点击process描绘全图轮廓
点击start phase two和approve outline显示标注中柱结构
在cortex下点击start three 和approve aerenchyma对皮层部分进行细胞识别和标注
最后点击finish,返回自动测定的横切面数据

实验室使用
在实验室中对植物根系横切面进行观察,可以配置一解剖镜,一显微镜,显微镜上附转化头将图片直接传输到计算机的rootscan上来实现快速、大批量的植物根系横切面观察。通过与之前的DIRT平台,可以快速对大批量的植物根系性状进行测定。
